Originally from the north-east of England, Donna travelled the world working for Maersk as a cadet and junior officer. She moved on to work for Svitzer as an officer on a harbour tug on the river Tees for five years before family relocation took her to Aberdeen. There, she spent three and a half years working at Marex from 2013.

Now based in Lowestoft, Donna has been working under contract for Marex for the last 18 months and officially rejoined the team on 1 January 2024.

“I loved my time working for Marex in Aberdeen so it’s great to be back,” she said.

“I’ll be working on growing our profile here in East Anglia, as well as continuing to carry out vessel inspections and marine assurance activities. Marex has such a strong professional reputation, having been dealing with safety cases in the energy industry from the start.

“It’s this breadth of specialist knowledge that makes us so well placed to support organisations working in other hazardous industries.”
