Membership of EastWind Cluster makes valuable connections

26th March 2025

Marex has become part of EastWind, the East of England’s offshore wind cluster.

As a voice for the region’s offshore wind sector the cluster raises awareness of the industry and the opportunities it presents the wider community both locally and nationally.

It both represents and gives a single voice to operators, developers, local government and the supply chain across the Eastern region. It was established in 2021 to drive the implementation of the Offshore Wind Sector Deal objectives in so far as they relate to the East of England region.

EastWind advocates for the region and encourages development, working alongside existing regional capabilities, liaising with other clusters to cross-pollinate best practice and build on lessons learned.

It acts as the East of England Energy Group’s (EEEGR) offshore wind sector council. And EastWind has a presence at EEEGR’s flagship SNS conference on May 22 and 23, both as exhibitors and within the main conference agenda.

Our managing director Wayne Henderson said: “EastWind is a dynamic and positive force in the region, and we see it as an important platform that will help us make the valuable connections and contributions to the energy sector that will help Marex continues its successful transition into renewables.”
